Football has taught me more than just touchdowns and tackling.
I am a very proud alumnus of Simon Fraser University. During my senior year I earned the prestigious designation of All Conference Honors. This award encompasses athletic ability on the field and leadership off of the field.
In 1982 the BC Lions made me a territorial protection. That meant that my skills as an athlete, as well as, my loyalty to the team were coveted by a group of professionals.
Through my 6 year career with the BC Lions (1982-1987) I developed the unwavering work ethic that wins championships. In 1985 I was privileged to be a member of the ‘leos’ when we won the Grey Cup. We beat the Hamilton Tiger Cats in Montreal 37-24.
